FAQ
Quick answers
How much is an outside tap fitted?
Most standard installs are a fixed price agreed up front — typically a few hours' work depending on internal pipe access.
Will it freeze in winter?
Not if it's fitted correctly. We insulate the internal run, fit an isolation valve to drain it down, and use a self-draining bib where suitable.
Do I need building regs?
No, but a WRAS-approved double-check valve is required to protect the mains supply — we always fit one as standard.
How long does it take?
Usually 2–3 hours from arrival to a working, tested tap.
