Accessible bathrooms
Bathroom specialists for disabled and elderly users
M3 Trades design and install level-access showers, wet rooms and fully adapted bathrooms across the West Midlands. Occupational therapist-friendly, DFG-ready, and fitted by one team from strip-out to final seal.
What we install
Adaptations built around the person, not the catalogue
Every adapted bathroom starts with how the user actually moves, washes and is supported day to day.
Level-access showers
Bath removed, floor levelled and a low-profile or fully tanked tray fitted so there is no step to cross. Half-height screens keep carer access open.
Full wet room conversions
Tanked floors with fall-to-drain detailing, R11+ non-slip tiling and thermostatic anti-scald mixers. Suitable for wheelchair and shower-chair users.
Grab rails & seating
Rails positioned to the individual's reach and grip, into solid noggins rather than plasterboard, plus fold-down or fixed shower seating.
Mobility sanitaryware
Comfort-height and raised WCs, lever taps, height-considered basins and contrasting trims for users with low vision.
Dementia-considerate finishes
Tonal contrast between floor, wall and sanitaryware, simple controls and clear sightlines to reduce confusion and fall risk.
Carer-friendly layouts
Space planned around assisted washing — approach room at the WC, open shower entry and turning space wherever the footprint allows.
Why use a specialist
A general bathroom fitter isn't the same as a disability bathroom specialist
Getting an adapted bathroom wrong creates a daily hazard. These are the things we do differently.
We fit adapted bathrooms every month — this is a core service, not an occasional job
We work alongside occupational therapists and quote in a format that supports OT specifications
Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG) paperwork handled in the format councils expect
VAT relief applied where the user is chronically sick or disabled — we handle the forms
One team for plumbing, tiling, electrics coordination and finishing — no subcontractor gaps
Fixed written quotes after a free home survey, with no pressure to proceed
